Return of the Mack...

Yes! I'm going to absolutely return like I never left a year ago. Like I never said this time I'm serious. My abilitly to commit has really gotten out of hand! Luckily for Singh1 that hasn't had an affect on my marriage. No, but really many things are the cause of my non-posting, for example, life, crazy ex-friends stalking my blog, more life, and crazy people pretending to by my husband and I...weird yes and much crazier than any episode of Catfish you've ever seen. More on that later...my to be continued is now continuing!

But how amazing are these Novella Royale Janis Bells? They honestly can do no wrong in my eyes! Super comfy and this red ethnic print is nothing short of amazing. I seriously want everything in this print, and nearly every print of these gorgeous bells. Correction don't judge me when I have every print!

Slay the Kitchen: Mushroom & Spinach Omelet

So in my household I am totally not the cook. However, I have recently been taking a more healthy approach to everything that I consume [more on that in a later post]. With my husband at work most of the day, I no longer am able to rely on his wonderful meals nor am I trying to starve myself. I decided to take my foods to an even stricter level and have recently became a complete herbivore aka vegetarian. Herbivore just sounds so much more fun! Anywho, I whipped up this omelet in an attempt to make something quick yet still fulfilling, and achieved both!

What is it?

Omelet with sautéed spinach, mushrooms, and chopped garlic with a drizzle of ground peppercorn. I had some red, green, and yellow peppers ready to chop but was too lazy so I passed this morning lol. On the side, fresh pineapple and triangle sliced pita bread! Yummy...

Hi.

Aldo boots, Asos midi dress, Duro Olowu for JCP jacket

Que echo "Hello...Helllo...anybody out there??"

Hi! It's me again! Yessss, it's really a mess that I've been away so long!

As some of you may know I was planning a wedding last year, and yep we did it! Best day ever! But in all honesty,  last year was crazy so many great things others, eh. That's neither here nor there, however, it seems that my life is now starting to simmer and I'm ready to give this thing another go.

I started my business about the same time as I took my break and that's been on the up and up, married the greatest man created, and my kid gang is doing awesome! Life is so beautiful and I'm really taking this year and each one after to appreciate it. I let the fact that I had some stalkers deter me from certain blog content, but hey people find a way to fish and I refuse to entertain negativity...so come on down, thanks for the extra views ;)

I've been trying to get my life lately, so I refuse to not go anywhere half way dressed. Not trying to be that wife that loses herself lol! This picture was taken at Dogwood Festival here in Atlanta, I had all the kiddos and husband in tote. It was so pretty this weekend, but the very best thing about this day was, I had no allergies!!! Woop, thee best day ever! I'll post more shots from this day in another post...just a quick post to say holla!

Did Someone Say Wedding?

***Mini Update***
But why must weddings be so stressful? I know its been said time and time again. However, in my naive mind I thought I might be an exception? No? Crazy, yes! So a little synopsis on the last month and a half of my wedding planning life!

Course of Events in Planning Stages
I went from:

  • No wedding ceremony but something intimate with just Singh Sr. and I, too...
  • Intimate ceremony at our church , and small reception hosted by family, too
  • Wedding ceremony/reception at beautiful venue (no bridesmaids), too
  • 4 bridesmaids, then to
  • 5 bridesmaids, and a semi traditional wedding
  • To present day confusion and regrouping!
That's not even the half SERIOUSLY!

Currently, I'm changing everything after talks with a few friends I've been steered back to being B! Sooo I'm focused back on us! And making this wedding about US...I don't even think I'm having bridesmaids anymore, love my girls, but love my sanity a little more...amongst some other changes I can finally say I am happy with the direction.

Between school, jewelry line, life line to the fine-ance, mother to J&J and Singh Jr., mending friendships and starting new ones, I'm swarmed, but can honestly say I wouldn't have it any other way!
To all the other brides out there, please, please stick with what you want! It'll save you both time and energy :)

P.S. I know I've been neglecting my baby but the fact I still get comments and followers makes me want to keep going! You guys are too sweet, and the kind words from around the world mean the world to me!
